Our Story

Cheryl Uninterrupted was established in honor of my late mother, Cheryl Jacobs—a domestic violence survivor whose life was marked, not by the abuse she endured, but by the resilience with which she used to overcome it.

Although violence, pain, and hardship interrupted parts of her journey, they never defined who she was.

Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, she made a courageous decision to reclaim her life and move forward with purpose, faith, and unwavering strength.

She chose to live life uninterrupted.

Her resilience became the blueprint for my own vision and inspired the creation of Cheryl Uninterrupted—a place for women who have made the courageous decision to leave abusive relationships and are ready to reclaim their identity, restore their peace, and rediscover their purpose.

Through Cheryl Uninterrupted, we aim to provide:

  • Healing Circles that create safe spaces for Men, Women, and Children

  • Employment opportunities that promote financial independence, confidence, and long-term stability.

  • Holistic healing programs focused on emotional wellness, personal growth, and empowerment

  • Resource navigation and community partnerships so no woman has to rebuild her life alone.

Domestic violence leaves more than physical scars.

It interrupts dreams.

It disrupts families.

It steals confidence.

It challenges identity.

It causes many women to question their worth, their future, and their ability to begin again.

Our mission is to help women move beyond survival and into a life of healing, wholeness, and lasting freedom.

We believe every woman deserves the opportunity not only to survive—but to flourish.

Cheryl Uninterrupted is more than a nonprofit organization.

It is a tribute to one woman's extraordinary resilience.

It is a promise that no interruption has the final word.

It is a movement that declares every survivor has the right to reclaim her story, rebuild her future, and live with purpose.

Because surviving is not the end of the story.

Living life uninterrupted is.
